Branch membership

When you become a member of the RSPCA if you choose, your membership details can also be passed to your local RSPCA branch - which is the RSPCA London East in this case (which is a separately registered charity). We will then contact you with updates about their activities and how you are able to help them. Your application / membership of the branch is governed by the branch rules.

To ensure this please make sure you state the RSPCA London East on your application form, even if you are outside of this area. Please click the link above and download please then email the complete form to rspcalondoneast@gmail.com .

You can also join online here, however you should email the membership team (membership@rspca.org.uk) alongside this to make sure they allocation your membership to the correct branch (as there are a few of us across this UK!).

Adult membership

If you're thinking of joining as a member here's what you can expect to receive (as well as that warm fuzzy feeling that you're helping animals of course!):

A special RSPCA enamel pin-badge, a membership card and one of our Action for Animals car stickers.
A copy of the Annual Review (and summary of financial information).
A copy of animal life magazine which allows you to keep up to date with the latest RSPCA news, rescues, campaigns and prosecutions.

You can also take part in our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and vote at the election of national Council members. Members wanting more detailed information on the financial affairs of the National Society may ask to receive a copy of the Society's trustees' report and accounts instead of the Annual Review.

Individual membership

For £24 for one year, or £750 for life, you can become a member of the RSPCA and receive all the benefits listed, including:

animal life magazine
the right to vote at our AGM
a membership badge

Joint membership

For £36 for one year, or £1000 for life, you and your partner can become joint members of the RSPCA and receive all the benefits listed, including:

animal life magazine
the right to vote at our AGM
a membership badge

Joint membership is open to any two people who are both aged 18 or over and who live together at the same address as partners. Each person in a joint membership has the right to cancel their membership individually and at any time.

Joint members will normally receive only one copy of animal life and the Annual Review sent to their joint address. However you can ask to receive separate copies of these documents.
