On this page you can see the cats who have passed away in our care. It is heartbreaking that these cats didn't make it to loving forever homes to end their days in. We love and cherish all our cats, and they deserve to be remembered by us and the world.

Our beautiful kitten Sheldon adored toys, and would always want the ones the other kittens had even if you gave him his own! He was an incredibly sweet boy and watching him grow, even for an all too brief time, was a privilege. Sheldon passed away from liver failure. We know he has all the cat toys he could ever want up in kitten heaven.
Jin

Jin was an unhappy, very unwell boy who struggled during his short time with us, and sadly despite our best efforts we couldn't help him. Ending his suffering was the kindest thing we could do for him.
Bobby

Poor brave Bobby came in with a completely deformed front leg. He could barely walk and was clearly in considerable pain. We found he had advanced bone cancer that had spread and it was too late to save him. He is at peace now.
Florence

Our beautiful Florence came in as a stray with cancer in one eye. We hoped we had caught it in time, but the cancer had already spread through her body. If only we had got to her sooner. Our staff played fish iPad games with her and gave her as much chicken as she could eat before the end.
Morgan

Tiny little Morgan was already very frail by the time she came to us, but so so loving and affectionate. She had no appetite so we spent hours persuading her to eat little bits of chicken. Devastatingly her test results showed she was in the terminal stages of blood cancer, and she slipped away peacefully.
Sophie

Our gorgeous, friendly, happy Sophie was taken far too soon. She suffered an unexpected rare fatal reaction to anaesthetic after being spayed. Her kittens live on and found loving homes.
Terence

Brave, brave kitten Terence was signed over to us with worsening cerebellar hypoplasia. He had the best of care in a foster home who could not have loved him more; physiotherapy; and all the TLC in the world. He deteriorated to the point he could no longer move and was so distressed that all we could do was end his suffering. We cannot thank his foster home enough for giving him the best of end of days.
Helga

Helga was a sweet elderly ginger and white lady in poor condition, struggling to eat and very thin. When she went in for her dental, we found her mouth was full of painful tumours that were too widespread to remove. We let her go peacefully.
Ginger

Elderly boy Ginger was signed over to us as he had gone blind and his owner couldn't cope. He had lost a lot of weight but was improving in our care. Very sadly, Ginger suffered a stroke within a few weeks and passed on.
