Branch Vice Chair
Candy is a Partner at April Strategy and the founder of Meltedinside.com, an online artisan food and drink marketplace.
A devoted dog mum to two pups, she starts her mornings with long walks and countless rounds of fetch with the younger one. Candy’s passion for animal welfare led her to join the RSPCA London East Branch in 2018, where she is responsible for governance, strategy, and marketing communications.
Candy believes a healthy planet is essential for both humans and animals. She also champions climate action, supporting initiatives such as the UN’s Race To Zero initiative.
Branch Trustee
With a diverse background spanning hospitality, fitness, operations management and consulting, Adam brings a blend of experience and people skills to his current role at a charity in NW London. His interests lie in animal welfare, charity finances and management, and compliance, and how to better uharness technoogy to improve effectiveness.
A self-described "failed foster" with Cats Protection, his love for felines extends to a side gig as a professional cat sitter. Adam utilises a love of animals and business management experience to make a difference in his community and for its animal residents.
Branch Trustee
Grace is a lover of all sentient beings and has worked as a volunteer in different capacities at a number of different rescues. She is a volunteer with the Pet Loss Support Hotline run by the Blue Cross and is the Founder of Leonard's Lunchbox, a dedicated pet food bank in Bethnal Green. She is a finance solicitor by day and a candle maker in the evenings. On the weekends, she is a meditation facilitator and practices a wide number of healing modalities for animals and humans.

Jo is an experienced lawyer specializing in online protection, with a particular focus on safeguarding at-risk groups in digital environments. Before relocating to the UK, she served as an Assistant District Attorney in New York State, where she prosecuted a broad range of criminal cases.
With over 20 years of volunteer experience, Jo has supported causes close to her heart—from helping at a dance school for students with disabilities, to joining a Guinness World Record cookie-baking fundraiser for a children’s charity. Jo is the proud owner to a 17-year-old schnauzer mix; he enjoys short walks in the park, but does not enjoy listening to drafts of Jo’s legal arguments.
Branch Chair
Caroline, a Chartered Accountant, has over 20 years of Big Four professional services experience, on internal and external audits, regulatory assignments, consulting, restructuring and advising on the acquisition or sale of businesses both domestically and cross-border.
Caroline has a keen interest in animal welfare and has volunteered with numerous charities including Battersea Dogs Home providing training to some of the dogs in their care. She also ran the PwC Foundation in Australia and undertook pro-bono assignments for charities such as the RACV Foundation prior to moving to the UK.

Alexandra is a seasoned international development professional with over 15 years’ experience in programme quality, governance, and change management across humanitarian and development contexts.
Currently Senior Specialist at Save the Children International, she leads global initiatives to streamline processes, strengthen quality standards, and drive organisational simplification. Alexandra has held senior roles at Lumos, ActionAid, IRC, and World Vision, managing multimillion-dollar portfolios and fostering cross-functional collaboration. She brings expertise in quality management, fundraising and behavioural science, alongside a participative leadership style. Alexandra holds an MA in International Migration.
Branch Trustee
Anna has worked in the charity sector for over 10 years, working in a variety of roles and specialisms including marketing, fundraising and change delivery. She currently works for Cancer Research UK (CRUK) as a Senior Project Manager and is responsible for successfully implementing technology change across the organisation.
Anna is also the Chair of CRUK’s ‘Project Management and Change Delivery’ Community of Practice that drives best practice and shared learnings for people within a project management / change specialism; and is an active member of CRUK’s Age Positive network which champions an age diverse workforce and inclusive work environment.
While working from home, she’s kept entertained by her playful Cavapoochon called Popcorn.
Branch Trustee
Ranjini is a management consultant with 20+ years of experience in strategy enablement, business transformation & change management. She is currently the Director of Change with Prescient Healthcare Group, a product strategy and decision support consultancy in Healthcare. She has worked for large multinational organizations, in several countries across a variety of sectors, enabling transformation stemming from both organic and inorganic growth.
As a lifelong animal lover, she is very passionate about animal welfare. She has worked with animal charities in India and the NSPCC in the UK previously.
Branch Trustee
Olivia has over a decade of experience in strategic communications, having worked across the private, not-for-profit, and government sectors in a range of roles focused on shaping impactful messaging for diverse audiences. She is currently Global Communications Senior Manager at Boston Consulting Group, where she supports global initiatives with a focus on message clarity, engagement, and strategic alignment.
She has supported a number of charities over the years and holds a special place in her heart for animal welfare. She has served at a trustee since June 2025. She shares her home with a rescue German Shepherd named Curly, who inspires that commitment every day.

Vishnu is a strategy and transformation professional with experience across Financial Services and Consulting. He currently leads retail strategy for a UK insurer, where he focuses on driving sustainable growth through customer-centric innovation, operational excellence, and by leveraging the latest advancements in technology and AI.
Outside of work, Vishnu is passionate about travel, food, and all things nature. He has a deep love for animals, having grown up with cats and recently adopted a spirited dachshund who’s quickly become the heart of his home. Whether on long weekend walks through the countryside or exploring new cuisines, Vishnu finds joy in the simple, soulful connections that make life meaningful.

Lisa has over 20 years experience in HR and Operational leadership, with expertise in change management, organisational design and improving business performance. Lisa currently runs her own consulting business, working mainly with large corporate clients in aviation, rail and construction. Prior to this she led a large equity backed retail brand and held several senior HR roles at Heathrow International Airport.
Lisa is a lifelong animal lover and is happy to have provided a home to numerous rescue cats, including her current pets Lily and Bob.
