Branch Trustee
Anjalika has over 20 years of experience in research management and economic and political analysis and forecasting. She is currently the Head of Research at TheCityUK, the industry body representing UK-based financial and related professional services.
Before joining TheCityUK in 2014, Anjalika spent 12 years with the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU); she also worked for the consultancy Eurasia Group.
Anjalika served as a Trustee of the charity All Stars London from 2017-2022, and is very proud to have given an RSPCA cat a ‘forever home’.
Branch Vice Chair
Candy is a Partner of April Strategy. She has 20+ years of experience in strategy, transformation and M&A. Candy also founded an online artisan food & drink marketplace Meltedinside.com.
Candy has over 20 years of experience in charity work. At RSPCA she started her journey in RSPCA London East Branch in 2018, now looking after governance, strategy and marketing communications. Candy is also involved in the Race To Zero, a global initiative of UN's Climate Champion. As a happy owner of two dogs, Candy always starts her day with a dog walk and a lot of tennis ball-throwing.
Branch Treasurer
Alex is a Manager at Microsoft, where he focuses on sourcing, evaluating and executing data centre opportunities across the UK and Europe. He also serves as a Co-Lead at the Early-in Career Committee within Microsoft, connecting colleagues with networking, career development and mentorship opportunities.
Outside of work, as a proud dad of a chubby shiba girl, Alex can be seen walking his dog in Victoria Park or Epping Forest, but it’s always difficult to tell who is leading whom.
Branch Chair
Caroline, a Chartered Accountant, has over 20 years of Big Four professional services experience, on internal and external audits, regulatory assignments, consulting, restructuring and advising on the acquisition or sale of businesses both domestically and cross-border.
Caroline ran the PwC Foundation in Australia and undertook pro-bono assignments for charities such as the RACV Foundation prior to moving to the UK. She has a keen interest in animal welfare and has volunteered with numerous charities including Battersea Dogs Home providing training to some of the dogs in their care.
Branch Trustee
Ranjini is a management consultant with 20+ years of experience in strategy enablement, business transformation & change management. She is currently the Director of Change with Prescient Healthcare Group, a product strategy and decision support consultancy in Healthcare. She has worked for large multinational organizations, in several countries across a variety of sectors, enabling transformation stemming from both organic and inorganic growth.
As a lifelong animal lover, she is very passionate about animal welfare. She has worked with animal charities in India and the NSPCC in the UK previously.
Branch Trustee
Lisa has over 20 years experience in HR and Operational leadership, with expertise in change management, organisational design and improving business performance. Lisa currently runs her own consulting business, working mainly with large corporate clients in aviation, rail and construction. Prior to this she led a large equity backed retail brand and held several senior HR roles at Heathrow International Airport.
Lisa is a lifelong animal lover and is happy to have provided a home to numerous rescue cats, including her current pets Lily and Bob.
